Ron B. Mitchell MD

Ron Mitchell, MD is Professor of Otolaryngology and Pediatrics and Chief of Pediatric Otolaryngology, UT Southwestern Medical Center, Children's Medical Center Dallas. He is also the holder of the William Beckner Distinguished Chair in Otolaryngology. His clinical and research interests are on the management of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) in children. Dr Mitchell has published over 100 manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals. He is a PI for the Pediatric Adenotonsillectomy Trial (PATS) and completed the Randomized Controlled Study of Adenotonsillectomy for Childhood Sleep Apnea (CHAT) both sponsored by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI).
