Henry W. Fields, DDS, MSD, MS received his degrees in pediatric dentistry and orthodontics from the Universities of Iowa and Washington. He has served as dean at Ohio State University and currently is professor and division chair of orthodontics and is an attending and chief of orthodontics at Columbus Children's Hospital. His current research interests are diagnostic systems and decisions, treatment outcomes, health literacy and child behavior. He has published over 70 papers, two books and numerous book chapters and has served as a reviewer and on the editorial board for several journals. He has served on several councils and commissions for organized dentistry and dental education.
