2014 AAO Webinar - The Psychographics of Orthodontics ?

Credits: None available.

Standard: Free

Description

Participants will receive an introduction to applied, geographically based psychographics (demographic cluster groups). This facilitates the effective practice promotion of an orthodontic practice and helps doctors understand the implementation of a “niche” or differentiation strategy in practice development.

Course objectives include:

  • Explain the nature of psychographic groups, their sources, and their application in creating an effective practice model
  • Analyze the relative benefits and liabilities of choosing a particular subset of the general population to target for care for their specific practice mode
  • Evaluate the sources of the data and statistics to determine their relevance and viability in helping to make decisions on practice promotion, branding, and practice model
