Managing the vertical dimension during orthodontic treatment remains a challenge to the treating orthodontist, despite the many advances in techniques and appliances being used. Clear aligner therapy appears to help control, as well as aid in, opening up deep bite malocclusions with consistency, mostly due to the occlusal coverage by the aligners. Dr. Daher will show clinical cases and will share tips and techniques to help use the Clear aligners more effectively.
Recognize deep bite cases that are ideally treated with clear aligners
Treatment plan the deep bite malocclusion using auxiliaries and adjuncts along with aligners
Recognize the benefits of eliminating secondary effects due to aligner biomechanics
