Dealing with dental insurance for our patients can be both a blessing and a curse, as it helps patients afford much needed orthodontic treatment but necessitates substantial work on our part. A systematic and consistent insurance protocol is imperative for your orthodontic practice to be profitable. Whether your practice accepts assignment or not, or is in-network or not, this presentation will help clear up some of the challenging aspects of the process. We will discuss terminology used in insurance submission, review specific dental insurance codes, and share many tips and tricks to help you maximize receipt of insurance benefit payments. As coding can be quite confusing Dr. Depew will discuss how to accurately use the various CDT and ICD-10 codes you may use in your practice as well as the implications of the Affordable Care Act.

This lecture will discuss the various intra-oral and extra-oral images, tips and techniques for making photos you can be proud of, and various uses for them.
