With a solid start to 2020, orthodontists had every expectation to continue the year on course until an insidious microscopic virus exploded and our world changed in 15 days. Practices are facing the most profound and extreme business challenges imaginable. With mandated or voluntary practice closure, loss of production, employee payroll concerns, and ongoing patient care, the worst conceivable nightmare became a reality. Through all the chaos, we are a resilient group and there is great opportunity to re-engineer systems and re-set the course for a strong recovery.

During this down time, get things done … refocus, re-engineer, reorganize. Embrace change. Most importantly stay in front of patients through various social media channels. Launch and complete those projects that could never get started. Mary Beth will share “best practice ideas” as well as actions the 360 team are witnessing from clients and colleagues. With actionable suggestions, you will be able to organize a “go forward” plan that will fast track a strong re-start!

Learning Objectives:

  • Stay connected to patients/families with various media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Zoom, FaceTime
  • Initiate virtual exams for minor issues or questions from patients
  • Make a personal connection with Exams, Starts, Debands and patients wearing “must see appliances”
  • Organize opportunities for staff to accomplish meaningful tasks in the office or from home (See attached list of suggestions). AND, Organize a plan for a quick re-start for active patients and new production
